SILENT ROAD LOUVER TYPE
Sound Absorbing Panel (SILENT ROAD LOUVER TYPE)
Silent Road is an acoustic system for the underside of elevated roads. This product is designed to control the noise under the elevated road, such as the traffic noise reflected by underside of the elevated road scattering over to the surrounding area, and noise transmitted through the surface of the elevated road. Breakthrough sound absorption has been achieved by a combination of porous louver, high-absorption polyester and corrugated steel sheet.
Excellent sound absorption
Sound absorption has been significantly improved through direct absorption of sound, by providing punch-holes in the louver, opening the upper surface (which contacts the acoustic material) and by applying polyester non-woven fabric (which does not affect the acoustic performance) for covering members.
Significant cost reduction
Compared to conventional rear surface acoustic panels, significant cost reduction has been achieved by making the component members of the product as simple as possible, based on thorough study of both functional and workability aspects.
Lightweight and easy to install
Extremely light, weighing less than 50kg/m2 including the base steel members (suspension member, vertical/lateral beams, etc.). All members are sized to allow easy hoisting and carrying so that they can be easily transported and installed at the site.
High durability
The aluminum alloy sheet used as the base material of the porous louver is resin coated and exerts high durability and weather resistance.
Matches the surrounding environment
With a rich variety of colors and a soft matt finish, Silent Road attractively matches the surrounding environment.

Sound Absorbing Panel (SILENT ROAD PANEL-TYPE)
The panel-type Silent Road is an acoustic panel designed to control traffic noise that is reflected by the underside of elevated roads. The panel-type Silent Road can absorb 95% of the reflected traffic noise from the lower road.
Excellent sound absorption
An excellent sound absorption rate (oblique incident sound absorption coefficient) of 95% or higher is maintained by corrugating the back panel to provide a proper air layer in the rear side of the acoustic member, and by providing punch-holes on the side surfaces along the lengthwise direction.
Sufficient strength and safety performance
By corrugating the back panel we've increased the strength of Silent Road while keeping the panels lightweight. In addition, the polyester non-woven fabric applied to the acoustic material ensures a high degree of safety for humans.
Easy to maintain
Because the aluminum alloy sheet of the front panel is resin coated and both surfaces of the rear and side panels are covered with weather-resistant resin films, Silent Road can be expected to be maintenance-free under normal environmental conditions.
Excellent cost performance
Compared to conventional rear surface acoustic panels, significant cost reduction has been made possible by making the component steel members of the product as simple as possible, based on thorough study of both acoustic and functional aspects.
